How Glas works

One camera. Three ways to shoot.

Story, Post and Video sit side by side in the Glas camera. Tap for a photo, hold for a burst, or record a clip up to a minute long.

Home shows the people you follow, newest first. Nothing is ranked or reshuffled. Stories wear a ring of light for 24 hours, until you’ve seen them.

  • React with a heart or one of five emoji
  • Comments with replies, and likes on comments
  • Circles for the things you’re into

Moments worth collecting.

When a moment is worth keeping, collect it. The person who shot it sets the price and earns tokens each time someone does. Insights shows them what every moment earned, and only they can see it.

  • Collected moments live on your profile
  • Creators set the price, 5 tokens by default

Everything you shoot, in one place.

Studio keeps every capture, posted or not. Your profile shows what you’ve shared and what you’ve collected.

There’s no upload button.

Filters, face-tuning and AI images can’t get in, because nothing gets in that wasn’t shot in the app. Move the lens to see the photo the way it was taken.

You decide who sees what.

  • Followers-only posts

    Mark any post private and only your followers can see it.

  • One account per phone

    Every account is verified by text message when it’s created.

  • Block anyone

    Blocking removes the follow both ways and hides you from each other.

  • Report a post

    Flag spam, nudity, violence or harassment and it goes to review.

  • Messages between friends

    Only people who follow each other can send messages.

  • No location, no ad trackers

    Glas never asks where you are, and there are no ad trackers in the app.
